Slayers NEXT Sound Bible 2

Overall rating: Great! It has a remix of Give a Reason, lotsa good BGM and such... Hey, I'm baiased! I love Slayers music!! Oh yes, and MOST of the song/bgm titles are in Japanese, but were translated (compliments of my mother and myself) when I was filling out a bgm logbook a while ago. HEY! I was preparing for selecting bgm for Slayers Today-- but now it will assist for Slayers Reflect, ne? ^_^

Track/title

1. Monologue of Lina 1 Self-explanitory. Very cool. I practice my Lina Inverse voice frequently with this! Way to go Megumi Hayashibara-sama!! ^^ Here she talks about how the adventure's going...

2. Give a Reason <REMIX VERSION> Basically the same as the original, only more guitar, more intro, more space before the last chorus is sung.

3. "Next Enemy and Reward" Jazzy bgm that's kinda happy.

4. "From the Planet of the Sun" The first selection is of an Arabic-type music while the second is regal and announcement-like.

5. "March With Self Conviction" More of that Jazzy stuff and regal stuff.

6. "The Unwelcomed People" Mystereous and yet MORE jazzy stuff.

7. "Don't Care Who it is, I'm Still Lina" More jazz, anyone?

8. "Martina's Desire and Ambition" The first is a tense peice and the second a bit celtic.

9. "Far Away Rain" Martina's image song! It's a cute song and I like it to an extent. It's not something I'd listen to day and night tho'.

10. It's Time for Action This has three peices with the same basic melody, each with a different theme/feel. This is one of my favorite Slayers bgm's... dunno why.

11. "Sparkling Eyes and a Shining Sword" Mystereous and tense is what it sez on my documentation papers^^.

12. Man of Cold Blood ooooooh... another favorite bgm. At first I always imagined it was for Zelgadiss, but I actually think it's for Xelloss *shrugs* Whatever^^.

13. "Image of Love" Celtic? Like those pans that dance around meadows type of thing.

14. Lonliness <That Nobody Knows> Heroic sounding.

15. "Silent Record of Beyond" Mystery and action...

16. Why Should I Fear? Mystery/Evil for the first part and Evil for the second.

17. "Uncamped Seigram" A tense peice of music.

18. The Evil Eye Fear.

19. "Giant Delusion" Tense/ action.

20. Break Out into Battle Well, battle-type music ^_^.

21. "Open the Gate to Battle With the Key of Courage" Uncertainty and yet another tense bgm.

22. Jama wa Sasenai The full version of the ED theme of NEXT sung by Masami Okui.

23. Monologue of Lina 2 Another, longer monologue by Megumi Hayahsibara. Here she talks briefly about her colleagues.
